After
nearly a decade of work in the field of
corporate marketing, communications and
advertising, Kim Gardner began her work
in the animal welfare and environmental
field in 1987. Working with local, state
and national organizations, Kim has coordinated
public policy campaigns, managed numerous
special events, developed membership programs
and fundraising campaigns, coordinated public
relation efforts, researched and written
grant proposals, developed signature merchandise
programs and initiated new community development
projects

Lesley
began her career in corporate marketing
and public relations at The Sharper Image
corporate headquarters and at Ghirardelli
Square, but soon followed her heart with
a shift to the non-profit sector in the
early 1990's.
As
Director of Community Outreach at the Peninsula
Humane Society in San Mateo, CA Lesley was
responsible for the oversight of the shelter's
marketing, public relations, animal behavior,
outreach, education, and spay/neuter departments.
She was also a member of the shelter's senior
management team, responsible for the organization's
long range planning, annual budget preparation,
organizational development and more.
A
founding partner of ARC Consultants, Lesley
sees her work as a dream come true. "It
has been a goal since I can remember to
combine my varied professional experience
with a deep concern for animals. Through
ARCC, it is my hope that we will assist
a growing number of animal welfare organizations
of every size, budget and type in an effort
to make the world a better place for animals."

Skoczek |

Marianne
Skoczek has spent her career in the nonprofit
field, working in animal welfare,education,
arts, and environmental organizations. A
clear and creative writer and detail-oriented
editor, she has in recent years also trained
and worked in graphic design. She has been
an art and an animal photographer since
the mid-1980s.
Marianne
was publications manager at the Peninsula
Humane Society from 1994-1999. During this
time she also wrote the biweekly "Peninsula
Pets and Wildlife" column for the San
Francisco Examiner. She has served as the
editor of the Journal of Wildlife Rehabilitation
since 1999, and from 1999-2000 wrote a biweekly
column on adoption and rescue issues for
PetPlanet.com. She is skilled at taking
publications projects from conception through
to the reality of an effective printed piece.
She is also an effective grantwriter.
